ENERGIA continued to partner with national institutions and local stakeholders to influence national strategies, energy policies and action plans. This inclusive approach allowed ENERGIA to collaborate with different actors and fully support the integration of gender strategies at all levels, from households to governments.

National activities included awareness raising campaigns in rural areas, gender mainstreaming and collaboration with governments to assess and plan actions to increase the effectiveness of energy policies, impacts and interventions. ENERGIA supported all these stakeholders to create a safe environment for women engaged in the energy sector and in the energy value chain as suppliers, users or decision-makers in their homes, businesses and organizations.
