We continued to use awareness-raising as one of our main strategies for influencing stakeholders, practitioners, policy- and decision-makers and experts working in the energy sector. ENERGIA developed knowledge products, such as handbooks and manuals, and published publications on gender and energy, including our flagship publication, ENERGIA News.
Energia News issues published during Phase 4 focused on different aspects of the gender-energy dimension, ranging from highlighting the need to address women’s differentiated tasks, responsibilities and energy needs and how these challenges hinder women’s potential and participation in the decision-making process, to reporting research results and projects updates and sharing technical information on gender mainstreaming.
